Since moving into our home we've been S-L-O-W-L-Y furnishing it.
It takes time and $$$.
Save a little...Spend a little!
So last month we headed over to the Wisteria outlet!!
Unbenownst (is that a word) to us we went the day of the annual warehouse sale. When we drove up, along with every other Dallas interior designer and stay at home mom, I spotted "cones and cops." As an interior designer...this is a good sign!! This means SOMETHING WONDERFUL IS TAKING PLACE!!!
There was no time to take a delightful stroll, browsing around. Let me tell you...the picture above was just minutes before the flood gates of people came flocking in. We were there about 10 minutes in quiet before the hair pulling began and women armed themselves with their American Expresses!!!!
Here...I've trained my husband well. I said, "Don't talk--just follow me--fill out the SOLD signs and stick them to the furniture-push anyone that gets in your way! (just kiddin')
He was a nervous wreck!!!
It definitly was a adrenaline rush for me too! I haven't "fought" for furniture in a long time...since I quit work 2 years ago.
After we got our "lute" we then had to wait in line to pick it up. That was no easy task either as everyone was anxious to get there stuff loaded and head to lunch. No mercy I tell ya!!!
We crammed it all in the car...another thing my husband said we weren't gonna be able to do. I said, "oh no...it will fit...trust me."
We had a fun day together!
