Today the rain finally let up.
It has rained for 8 straight days which has
been nice for a change.
I'm hoping it moved us into Fall and cooler temperatures,
though probably not the case.
My daughter sayed her prayers the other night
and "Thanked God for watering the plants so good."
My summer zinnias have new life...
With fall approaching I always find myself wanting
to do some sewing of the sort.
Maybe it's the season of football and winding down.
No more staying outside until 9pm,
catching fireflies till' dusk.
(because I did that every night! ahahahahaha)
This year I'm listening to my "sewing desires" more closely...
Seven years ago I started this quilt,
12 blocks with flying geese.
With the arrival of my first child,
it was safely tucked away in a box
and never touched again.
She is 6 now.
I'm determined to finish what I started.
I'm giving myself 6 months,
a generous amount of time,
to finish the last 4 blocks, border and quilting process.
